The 5 Best Restaurants in Dubai

Heading to Dubai? Check out Travel Seen’s top restaurants to experience while you’re in the Emirati city…

If you’re lucky enough to be heading off on your hols to the sunshine-filled city of Dubai, then have a read first of Travel Seen’s top five restaurants there.

With suggestions from our famous friends and our own team here at HQ, we know these recommendations won’t disappoint.

1. White Beach Restaurant

Atlantis Dubai’s newest signature restaurant offers the perfect combination of a great setting overlooking the Dubai skyline; an incredible menu of Mediterranean flavours, sushi and fusion dishes; and a buzzing atmosphere accompanied by live musicians.

But don’t just take our word for it: “My husband and I absolutely LOVED the new White restaurant; the whole menu at White was just incredible,” Kimberley Walsh told us when she got back from her Travel Seen holiday to Atlantis with her husband and three boys.

Try the signature lobster linguine, and a dish off the Local Sustainable menu that features ingredients from the best of the UAE’s organic, local produce.

2. Pierchic

If you’ve been to Dubai before then this restaurant won’t need an introduction. Set on a private pier jutting out into the Gulf from the Jumeirah Al Qasr resort, it’s one of the many Jumeirah hotels’ restaurants you can experience on the group’s Dine Around board basis. With numerous awards to its name, the restaurant focuses its fare on the dishes of Italy, created by Head Chef Beatrice Segoni. Having left a career in fashion to pursue her dream of becoming a chef, you can expect the dishes to look as stylish as they taste.

On the menu are caviar and oysters, pastas and risottos, seafood and steaks. Or if you simply can’t decide, opt for the tasting menu to take you on a culinary journey to the Italian coast.

3. Lucky Fish

Ideally set for breakfast, lunch or dinner with a view, Lucky Fish on The Palm Jumeirah is a must-visit for Dubai travellers who love their seafood.

This trendy Mediterranean restaurant has a menu inspired by the ocean; from easy-going meals to start the day to relaxed beachside dishes for lunch, or smart a la carte plates after dark. The Fish Display is the stuff of legends.

“On Palm West Beach, boasting mesmerising views of the Dubai skyline, you will find Lucky Fish,” says Travel Seen’s Social Media Executive Lydia, who’s not long returned from a holiday in the city. “This effortlessly chic Mediterranean restaurant on the beach will leave you wanting more!”

4. Villa Beach

When we recently sent Dr Alex on a trip to the luxurious Jumeirah Beach Hotel, there was a laidback dining experience we didn’t want him to miss to celebrate his birthday: the hotel’s Villa Beach.

We reckon it boasts one of the best viewing points in Dubai, with an uninterrupted aspect right across to the Burj Al Arab.

On the menu expect pizzas, pastas, salads and aperitivo.

5. Al Mahara

It’s for good reason a visit to the iconic Burj Al Arab made our Top 10 Things To Do in Dubai. And a meal at its signature restaurant is a great way to experience the unique luxury of this hotel.

Currently enjoying a pop-up of the two-Michelin star Ristorante L’Olivo, Al Mahara creates a dining experience to tick from your bucket list, set as it is alongside the hotel’s vast aquarium.

As you dine on the freshest seafood, lavished with 5-star ingredients like caviar and truffle, the Burj Al Arab’s resident sea life will swim past in their underwater world on the other side of the glass.
